Authors who publish in Jurnal As-Sunni agree to transfer the copyright of their accepted manuscripts to the journal publisher. This assignment enables the journal to disseminate, reproduce, and archive the published work in various formats and media to ensure broad academic access and long-term preservation.

Copyright Transfer

Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, the author(s):

  1. Grant Jurnal As-Sunni the exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and display the article in print and electronic forms
  2. Allow the journal to include the article in indexing services, databases, and other digital platforms
  3. Agree that the article will not be published elsewhere in the same form without prior written permission from the journal

This copyright transfer applies only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Author Rights

Although copyright is transferred, authors retain the following rights:

  1. The right to use their article for educational or research purposes
  2. The right to include the article in a thesis, dissertation, or institutional repository with proper citation to the published version
  3. The right to share the article for non-commercial academic purposes, provided the original publication in Jurnal As-Sunni is clearly acknowledged

Originality Guarantee

Authors confirm that:

  1. The submitted work is original
  2. The manuscript does not infringe on the copyright or other rights of any third party
  3. The article has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere

Third-Party Materials

If the manuscript includes figures, tables, images, or other materials under copyright owned by others, authors are responsible for obtaining written permission prior to submission.
